Breakfast
Fruit toast with Nuttelex, and a cup of ginger tea.
Lunch
Leftover take-away stir fry (veggies, tofu, rice vermicelli noodles, and black bean sauce).
Dinner
Went to TGI Fridays at Marion and ordered the only vegan thing on the menu, tomato pasta. I assumed that the pasta didn't have egg in it because otherwise I'd have nothing to eat and I'd ruin everyone else's nice dinner. So I assumed it would be vegan, it probably was. But then when it came they had put cheese on the top! What was I to do? For the aforementioned reasons I ate it. If I didn't eat it I'd just have to sit there starving while everyone else ate and I'd make them all feel awful for eating while there was nothing for me. I guess all you can do is try, at least it was vegetarian. Though come to think of it, Parmesan cheese is not vegetarian. Sigh... Because of this I'll tag this as 'Questionable Restaurant Vegetarian Food' because, to their credit, they didn't say it was vegan, they said it was vegetarian, which it is not either! The restaurant was nice though, next time I will just have to ask for no cheese.
I also had a Tropical Mai Tai cocktail.
And then a Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri mocktail, didn't want to have too hazy a night!
Little Vegan Life grew from a vegetarian food diary come vegan lifestyle blog called 'So Do You Just, Like, Eat Salad?'. Little Vegan Life explores the vegan lifestyle and my little vegan life, pondering issues big and small, and, most importantly, talking about delicious vegan food! (And 'So Do You Just, Like, Eat Salad?' fans don't despair, all of those posts are in the little vegan archives).
